That's right, everyone. I am now a married woman! It is so weird to think that, but I'm finally getting used to the idea, and loving every moment of it (okay, so there are a few short rough patches, but that's normal, right?).

So now that the wedding is over, and both receptions attended (yay!) we are finally settled back at home. And guess what! Remember when I said that my friend was loaning me his laptop. He gave it to me as a wedding gift, so now I have my scanner installed and have already added a few scraps to my scrapbook! Just thought you might want to know.

They are just a few pages that I am still working on, but are almost done. Of course, once I finish them, I will post them up in my regular gallery, but until then, you can view the unfinished pieces in my scraps.

Anywho, it is late and I want sleep.

So apparently the downstairs computer was fixed, but there is a cord missing from it that normally lets the monitor turn on. It worked at first, but the cord has since been lost. Unfortunately, this means I will not yet be able to submit any artwork. Maybe I'll try to use a friend's scanner one of these days. Things have just been crazy lately.

My wedding is a month from Monday, and I don't have nearly as much done as I should have. I also lost one of my bridesmaids today, which made me very sad, but there is really nothing I can do about it. I have tried.

Anyway, just a little tidbit on how crazy my life is: Wedding, packing up so I can start moving stuff into the new apartment, trying to do as much of the wedding planning by myself as I can (I know traditionally the bridesmaids are supposed to help, but my bridesmaids have enough to deal with right now), trying to keep the last remaining friends I have left together after losing one, and also trying to continue drawing and writing as much as I can. I am so out of practice it is not even funny.

*big sigh*

Anywho, maybe this is all just my tired brain thinking WAY too much, but I just want to sleep until the wedding day and have everything done for me by that time. Heck, if I could have my friend back when I wake up that would be great, too. But we all know things don't work by themselves, so I'm kind of stuck only sleeping at nights and working on things during the day. And the lost friend... Well, that's kind of her issue. I've tried working it out on my end, and I can do nothing more about that.

Speaking of sleep, I think I will try doing so now.

Hey everyone! *waves*

So it has been ages since the last time I have been here on Deviant. I had LOADS of deviations to go through. Things have been crazy lately, so I just did not have the time to seek out a computer and check up every once in a while. A friend lent me his spare laptop, so I will be on more often. Not sure I can hook my scanner up to it, though, so I may hold off on submitting anything for now. We also have the downstairs computer working, so then again I may be able to connect things there and submit some stuff. Here's to hoping!

Anywho, I am now engaged! Yay! My wonderful fiancee proposed on New Year's morning (12:01 a.m.-ish). We will be getting married on May 13, and we have a lot of planning to do. I am not nearly as caught up as I would like to be in the wedding plans department, but there is so much to do beforehand that I feel somewhat overwhelmed. We'll get through it, no doubt.

Work has also been crazy, but I'm just grateful to have a job during these hard economical times. I have many friends who have been searching for a job for months with no success, or who have lost their jobs recently because of the hard times. Hopefully things pick up soon. We can't survive as a country like this for too long.

I hope things are going well for everyone else. I hope to get some deviations put up soon. Thank you so much for your patience with me!

Hello everyone!

Okay, so my computer is still completely dead, and as you can all tell I still do not have a new laptop. I hope to have one in late November, but we will see what happens. I have lots of new stuff to load on here, and I'd love to get some feedback on it. I just need to get the laptop so I can get to work.

I've been working on a few projects for two of my friends who are both no longer living in the same area as me. One is in Russia for two years, and the other just moved to California. *cries* Anyway, I hope my attempts to cheer them up work. I know I'm not the best artist out there, but they're not really bad, either.

Also been working on a few things with my boyfriend. Mostly webcomic stuff, but nothing is up yet. I'll keep you updated on that, but I think it will be a while before anthing can be shown.

Also, my new Epilepsy medication causes my immune system to be really bad, so I've got another cold (I think it's the third I've had in two months). Mom has it now, too, so she's all upset at me for getting her sick... >_> Sorry mom! I love you!

Naw, she's a pretty good sport about it, but now she stuffing me full of vitamins so I'll stop getting her sick. Hopefully it works. We will have to see.

Anywho, that's all for now. I plan to update my journal more often, so hopefully you'll be hearing mor from me.
